A few weeks ago, Beth celebrated her sister’s birthday with a girls’ staycation at Easton Town Center. You know what? I’m going to let her tell you about it…
Hello – Beth here! When I was thinking about the best way to celebrate my sis, a place where we could be all in one location but near plenty of things to see, do, and eat, I didn’t have to think much further than Easton.
We stayed at the newly renovated Residence Inn, which is just steps from everything the area has to offer.
We especially loved visiting some local favorites like Red Giraffe Designs, Elm & Iron…
…Glenn Avenue Soap. And, of course Jeni’s (Buttercream Birthday Cake was apropos).
We collected the Cheers! Challenge cocktail passport stamps at Beeline…
…and Forbidden Root.
Then headed to dinner at Sono Wood Fired.
There are few things (besides breakfast of course) that are better to start the day than pedis at Anthony Vince! Anthony Vince Nail Spa has a ton of locations in the area, and the Easton one even has a bar – we had to get the bubbly.
Because everything at Easton is so close, you can take your time and really enjoy the good company while you’re trying new things. Also, spending a few nights there allows for lots of time for shopping, BUT also a lot of time to try food and drinks!
Our favorite is getting a few things to share at each place, so we can try bites of everything that looks good. We had to try ALL THE DIPS at lunch Chuy’s Restaurant.
(Side note: did you know Chuy’s collects photos of dogs? You can bring in a framed photo of your pooch and get a free appetizer!)
Throughout the weekend, we also sampled small bites at True Food Kitchen…
…and Slurping Turtle.
A highlight was checking out the BRAND NEW The Escape Game, which offers five scenarios.
It was all of our first time trying an escape room, and we can honestly say, it was a BLAST. We are already planning a time where we can bring our boys back and check it out.
Coffee in the morning from Crimson rounded off a perfect weekend. I highly recommend it for any type of celebration – you can’t go wrong with Easton as your destination!
